In San Antonio, the Spurs implement Read to Achieve through educational programming, read aloud events with Spurs players and coaches, and free book donations. For the eighth year, third, fourth and fifth graders will have the opportunity to participate in the Spurs Slam Dunk Reading Challenge presented by IBC reading competition to win Spurs and Rampage game tickets, or the grand prize – a Spurs player hosting a read aloud event for their class.

Recognize and prize 3,000 children who make healthy nutrition and bodily fitness choices through the “Get Fit with Bruce & Buddy” program supported by Bruce Bowen, H-E-B and the Spurs Foundation.

Donate additional than 30,000 Spurs, Silver Stars tickets to underserved area childhood, families and area charitable trust through school-based student inducement programs.
